“Can you describe a specific feature of our rivets?”
“In terms of our products, the consistency and stability of GESIPA^® rivets are excellent. They are also very convenient, allowing our employees to work faster than with alternative products. The rivets are not only waterproof, their appearance is also highly consistent after riveting, with minimal protrusion. This consistency enhances the internal aesthetics and neatness of our boxes, making them more acceptable to customers.”

“Our assembly workers have found them very convenient, with no negative feedback in recent years. The quality control team has no objections and rates the rivets highly. The consistent quality of your products has shown us the importance of maintaining stable and reliable standards. Designers who may be unfamiliar with your products have had to refer to your catalog during the design process to find suitable rivets -- this is an area we need to improve on.”

“What changes has the use of our rivets had on your processes?”
“The GESIPA^® rivets have made operations in our production processes more convenient for our staff. Previously, we used another type of press riveting, which was more cumbersome and required special equipment. With your traditional pull riveting method, the process is much more worker-friendly, with no impact on our production line layout. It allows us to optimize and interchange production steps without affecting our workflow, which is crucial. Of all the riveting methods we have tried, pull riveting is the best and most convenient.”

“Has your early adoption of pull-rivet structures influenced the industry?”
“Yes, it has led to them becoming an industry standard, adopted by both domestic and international brands.”

“You mentioned production efficiency gains – in what way?”
“Initially, switching from press riveting to GESIPA^® rivets more than doubled our assembly efficiency! However, we have now reached a bottleneck, and further efficiency improvements might require automation. Although manual riveting can be faster in the short term, automation offers advantages such as continuous operation without fatigue, distractions or inconsistencies. We believe the future of our industry lies in automation. Optimizing production steps, working hours and line layout is essential.”

“In what way can we help you in the future (e.g. expansion of product range)?”
“Our strategic partnership means we will continue to use GESIPA^® rivets in new aluminum alloy boxes, which will secure our market presence for at least seven to eight years. We are also increasing the use of your rivets in various products like side bags, other bag types and metal protective products. Reducing the number of suppliers and thereby reducing complexity is a key factor for us.

“What are your expectations and suggestions for us?”
“We would like comprehensive training on riveting products to be available, including usage scenarios and performance. We expect automation equipment and tool prices to become more affordable in order to better support small businesses.”
